ADDP is pleased to provide its members with a custom monthly calendar that depicts important facts regarding the human services industry. We are using this calendar to highlight important facts and data the impact provider members across Massachusetts. This calendar is distributed on a monthly basis to Massachusetts legislators in order to build awareness around human services issues. As an added bonus, we also list the birthdays of Massachusetts' legislators.

This calendar also allows ADDP to highlight a fantastic piece of original art created by individuals who receive services by ADDP member providers. Each month, we display the art on the calendar and provide more about the artist below. Please enjoy learning more about our featured artists.
February 2025's Featured Artist
Artist: Steve Light
Piece: "Heart"
Agency: Riverside Industries
Steve has a wonderful sense of humor and delights in joking around with friends. His artwork is likewise bright, bold, and interesting. Steve takes his time completing his artwork (mostly drawings with marker), meticulously adding the lines and colors to his abstract designs. Steve's artwork is often reminiscent of memories, movies, or activities he enjoys. Every design is completely unique.
Though new challenges can be difficult for Steve, he has found some new artistic interests by exploring different mediums. He has dabbled in beading, needle felting, and photography all while maintaining his own creative style. Meeting Steve and experiencing his joyful art will bring a smile to your face.
January 2025's Featured Artist
Artist: Miriam Roche
Piece: "Secret Bridge"
Agency: Cooperative for Human Services
Miriam is a 73 year old woman. Miriam began her interest with art work at the age of 11. Both of Miriam's parents were also talented with art. Miriam would place her art work in various Flea Markets. At the age of 65, Miriam suffered a stroke, she could no longer use her right hand. Miriam practices daily with her left hand using markers & canvas or adult coloring books. Miriam is very excited to be going to the Van Gogh Expo in two weeks. Miriam also works on crafts with her OT once a week.
